Starting Point:
Currently, my baseline data shows that I have 10 students below the 50%tile, and 5 students above the 50%tile. I will start to implement whole class writing interventions since only 33% of my students are at the 50%tile or higher.
Midpoint:
By December 5th, I will start to implement the modeled examples into classroom routine. I will create 4 levels of examples for students to self-assess their writing skills. Level 4 will be Exemplar, Level 3 will be Proficient, Level 2 will be Developing, Level 1 will be Not Yet Proficient. The lesson will center around students using these examples to self-check and assess their own writing. The examples will be hung for student references.
Target Goal:
By December 19th, 2025, at least five additional students will achieve performance at or above the 50th percentile in their writing progress monitoring score. I will have fully implemented weekly modeled writing lessons and students will use the writing checklist 90% of the time on writing assignments.
