By end of the 4th quarter, I will teach students the PENS strategy to write complete simple sentences in order to increase my students’ WRITE progress monitoring score by 10 percentile points.
Objectives: Reduce the number of runon sentences, by
- Using commas after transition words.
- Using the correct punctuation before conjunctions.
- Identifying subject and predicates.
- Idenifying types of clauses.
