Goal Attainment Scale

  • Starting Point: Currently, my average is 6.78 on the pre-assessment writing activity that was graded with the 4-point rubric. I will implement the CER strategy.
  • One-Quarter: I will explicitly teach the Claim, Evidence, Reason with modeled examples by April 3rd.
  • Midpoint: By April 17th the students will complete a guided writing activity using the CER strategy.
  • Three-Quarters: By April 24th the students will complete an independent writing activity using the CER strategy.
  • Target Goal: Using the CER model and a 4-point rubric scale students will score an average of 9 points on their short answer paragraphs by the May 1st.
