By the end of the third quarter, students will write a complete sentence independently with 5 components of complete sentence with 80% accuracy in 2 out of 3 trials.

• Midpoint: Journal writing happens every day. I model this process with them daily. We do hamburger writing as a graphic organizer and completes this one time per week. My class is working on capitalization, punctuation, and elaboration. We work on weekly vocabulary and write sentences with the weekly vocabulary.
