• Midpoint: Presently, the class does daily vocabulary lessons that include grammar, punctuation, etc. The students also complete 10 minutes of direct instruction on writing with practice following. Rachel feels that the Fundamentals in the Sentence Writing Strategy materials and lessons will fit in perfectly during the daily vocabulary lessons and will implement the fundamentals starting 3rd quarter.
