By Spring Break, March 21st, 100% (6) of students scoring at the 10th percentile band, will increase to the 25th percentile band. 100% (4) of students will increase from the 25th percentile band to the 50th percentile band using the Fundamentals in the Sentence Writing Strategy at 80% accuracy, while progress monitoring using the Write Tools Progress Monitoring Assessment.

  • Starting Point: By November 21, increase 5 correct word sequences per progress monitoring.
  • One-Quarter: From the previous progress monitor, November 21 goal attainment level, students will increase 5 correct word sequences by December 20.
  • Midpoint: From the previous progress monitor, December 20 goal attainment level, students will increase 5 correct word sequences by January 31.
  • Three-Quarters: From the previous progress monitor, January 31 goal attainment level, students will increase 5 correct word sequences by February 21.
  • Target Goal: By March 21, Students will have moved one percentile band
