By December 19th, 2025, at least 3 additional students will achieve performance at or above the 50th percentile in their writing progress monitoring score by implementing weekly C-SPACE modeled writing examples lessons and using the ARMS strategy with a convention’s checklist 90% of the time with their assigned writing.

Goal Attainment Scale

• Starting Point: Currently, my baseline data shows that I have 10 students below the 50%tile, and 5 students above the 50%tile. I will start to implement whole class writing interventions since only 33% of my students are at the 50%tile or higher.
• One-Quarter: By November 21st will start to implement the convention checklist. The lesson will focus on students understanding responding to a prompt with complete thoughts, evaluating correction capitalization and using appropriate punctuation.
• Midpoint: By December 5th, I will start to implement the modeled examples into classroom routine. I will create 4 levels of examples for students to self-assess their writing skills. Level 4 will be Exemplar, Level 3 will be Proficient, Level 2 will be Developing, Level 1 will be Not Yet Proficient. The lesson will center around students using these examples to self-check and assess their own writing. The examples will be hung for student references.
• Three-Quarters: By December 12th, I will start to implement using both weekly modeled lessons and the checklist on the majority of students writing assignments. Students will be able to use the modeled examples and checklist to evaluate a sentence or paragraph a day.
• Target Goal: By December 19th, 2025, at least five additional students will achieve performance at or above the 50th percentile in their writing progress monitoring score. I will have fully implemented weekly modeled writing lessons and students will use the writing checklist 90% of the time on writing assignments.
